Dim Paruti is a Bengali term which means bread slices dipped in eggs and fried. This is one of the most popular Bengali breakfast and is a popular roadside food too. Just like French toast its easy to make and prepare.
Dim Paruti Ingredients
In a large bowl whisk the eggs very well.
Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well making sure there are no lumps
Add the chopped onions, chopped bell pepper and green chillies. Mix well
Cut the bread slices into triangles.
Dip each of them in the egg mixture making sure to have some onions and chillies on top
Heat oil in a frying pan and fry them each making sure not to over crowd the pan.
