Lamb Kosha is one of the most delicious, hot and spicy lamb recipe. It is very rich in gravy. It is a perfect dish for a party menu or a small get together.

Steps

  1. Take Lamb, yogurt, turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp and salt to taste to prepare the marination. Mix them well and refrigerate the marination overnight.
  2. Now take a wok add mustard oil on it ,when the oil is hot add 2 bay leaves, cloves, cinnamon stick, dry red chilli and sugar in it.
  3. Then add chopped onion and fry till golden brown. Set aside some of the fried onion for garnishing.
  4. Now add chopped tomato in the remaining onion and stir well, add chopped ginger and continue.
  5. Add garlic powder, biryani masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt in it, stir well.
  6. When the oil comes out in the gravy and meat is soft add rose water and kewra water in it .
  7. Give it 5 minutes standing time and the delicious, mouthwatering lamb kosha is ready to serve.
  8. Sprinkle some fried onion in it and serve.

Serving Instructions

Serve it hot with Paratha,Luchi,Nan.
