Bottle gourd is a very low fat and healthy vegetable and is also one of my favourite vegetable. Now I am preparing Bottle gourd curry with milk. It is a very tasty with little cream flavour. It goes well with rice or roti.
Bottle Gourd Milk Curry Ingredients
Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and mustard seeds, let them splutter for a minute.
Add chana dal, urad dal, red chilies, urry leaves, onion, green chilies and fry until the onions becomes soft.
Add turmeric powder, salt, bottle gourd and mix well. Cover the lid and cook until the bottlegourd becomes soft and tender.
Finally add coriander powder and milk, mix well and cover the lid and again cook for 10-15 mins in medium heat.
