Healthy and easy to make masala paratha for breakfast.

These Masala Parathas are easy to make, light as well as healthy. It can be served with curd, Green Chutney or any pickle of your choice. It is a prefect dish for breakfast, but can also be served any time during the day.

Steps

  1. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, cumin seeds, sesame seeds, salt, crushed garlic and ginger, good amount of chopped cilantro, to the whole wheat flour.
  2. Add 2 to 3 tbsp oil and mix it thoroughly.
  3. Add little water at a time and knead the dough. Dough should be soft like plain paratha dough. Cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  4. After 15 minutes, knead the dough again with some oil on your palm and smooth out.
  5. Make small portions and roll out the parathas.
  6. Place the rolled paratha on Tawa/Skillet. When you see bubbles, flip it.
  7. Apply some oil and flip. Do the same on the other side as well. When done, remove paratha from skillet and place in a container with lid.

Serving Instructions

Serve the parathas with Achaar(pickle), curd or green chutney.
