Masala Besan Roti is a classic North Indian recipe. It is a very tasty roti but is best eaten in moderation as besan is not considered very good for the digestion. For this recipe we are adding a little atta to the gram flour to mitigate the effects of gram flour without affecting the taste. We also use chat masala and garam masala to give it a nice flavour.

Steps

  1. Take a bowl and add all ingredients and only 2 tsp of ghee, then knead into a soft dough by adding little water and keep it aside for 30 mins.
  2. Take the dough and divide the dough into 8 equal parts and make them round balls.
  3. Roll out the each ball like chapathi by adding little dry flour.
  4. Heat tawa and place the roti and fry both sides till golden brown color by adding little ghee.
  5. Prepare all the roti's in same process and serve hot.

Serving Instructions

You can serve this with curd or any curry.
